Description: A prototype of a game set in a science fiction environment loosely based on Frank Hebert's Dune. You can travel from planet to planet buying and selling products in order to make a profit. This was a final project for an Advanced Multimedia class.
How to play: Start off by clicking "Map" to see the planets you can visit. Your current location is indicated at the bottom of the map. You can click other planets on the map and press "Info" to learn a little about their background.
On the right side you can click the products in the list to obtain prices at the planet you are at. The current price is displayed at the bottom. You can either buy or sell by clicking the appropriate button. Your cargo space is indicated at the top right and will increment or decrement depending on whether you buy or sell. Likewise your funds will increase or decrease as well.
The laws of supply and demand are in effect in this game. Products higher in quantity are worth less and those that are scarce are worth more. Some products are worth more on one planet then another. Try to strategically buy and sell to maximize your profits.
